Dr. Pan Tao is the founder of ISEE. He is also the founder of the Ecoland Club Farm, the first Shanghai-based Community Garden. He has many years of practical, applied experience in URBAN SUSTAINABILITY planning and implementation, and has worked on successful environmental planning and management, energy efficiency, and GHG reduction initiatives in cities across China, filling the gap between policy and practice. He holds a doctorate in environmental planning and management from Nanjing University, a master’s degree in environmental and resource management from Brandenburg Technical University, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in geotechnical engineering from Tongji University. He is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.

Longbin ZHU is an urban planner and architect with a PhD in eco city planning & design (TU Berlin, Germany, 2006). He used to work as a senior technical advisor and project manager for international agencies (GIZ, Cities Alliance, ISC, Obermeyer Planen + Baraten, etc.). He is now Professor of Urban Planning at Nanjing Tech University, head of Urban Planning Department, and director of Eco-city Research Institute. He specializes in ecological planning and design, green architecture, sustainable urban development, old city rehabilitation, community planning and development.
Mr. Wang is a strategic and analytical corporate compliance expert with 18 years of experience. Proven global team leadership and professional experience in labor, environmental health and safety (EHS) and supply chain management. Asia is an expert in the establishment of lobar, EHS systems and committees, hazard assessment and industrial engineering. Prior to ISEE, Asia was employed at IBM as an EHS engineer. Asia also worked at ISC, Nike, Adidas, and other well-known brands in the labor and EHS field. Asia holds a B.A. in Mining Engineering from China University of Mining & Technology.
Ms. Difei Hu is the Director of China Center at Global College of Long Island University. She is specializing on Program Evaluation, Survey Research, Gender and Economic Statistics. Before joined LIU Global, Difei worked as a consultant to provide training, consulting and technical services in program evaluation in the field of sustainable development. During 2010 -2012, she worked for ISC as the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, managing the M&E plans and implementation for the US-China Partnership for Climate Action Program (PCA). Prior to ISC, Difei worked with the research team at Human Development Report Office of UNDP on 2010 Global Human Development Report. Her field experience includes South Asia and Africa, where she was a short term consultant for UNDP Cambodia, UNDP Regional Center of Asia and Pacific in Colombo, Sri Lanka and Millennium Village Project in Sauri, Kenya. Difei received her B.A. and M. A. from Zhejiang University and also has a MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, with a concentration in Economic and Political Development.
